Brian was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, and earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore. His digital-mixed-media works are conceptual and formal explorations of line. Fascinated by the irreducible nature of linear form, he appreciates that it is simultaneously reductive and additive in its application. Typically a work begins with a concrete, conceptual point of departure, which is deconstructed and reimagined.
